Many times, when you least expect it, you meet a person who makes an impact on your life. This summer, for me, that person was Joshua, who is a young man with Autism. Joshua’s mom, Katherine commissioned me to take their family portraits at Trap Pond, which is somewhere I love to shoot, and a place that Joshua likes to spend time with his brother Sean.
We took our time setting up the locations so that he would feel comfortable having his portrait taken; but after a few clicks and flashes, he was ready to go! I think Mom and brother were more nervous in front of the lens than my buddy Joshua. There are many nice locations in Trap Pond to setup family portraits and we were able to use most of them, to Joshua’s delight.
Thank you Katherine, Sean, and Joshua for sharing your wonderful family with me!
